Investment Strategy in a Disruptive World
“When will you start investing?” It’s one of the typical questions people tend to ask upon graduation, having spare incomes, wanting to grow their wealth for future retirement.
When comes to this foreign financial world, no matter how often I hear the jargon, it's just going way over my head. What suits my goal and risk profile? How do I make sense of the massive amount of information out there? For a newcomer or those with little to no business background, investing can be awfully confusing.
Teng will ease your journey by guiding you through the principles and impact of value investment, and how the major developments & new lifestyle affecting the realm of investment world.

Teng Ngiek Lian
Teng Ngiek Lian was the first batch student of the School of Business Studies, TAR College (1971-1973). He completed both the ACCA and ICSA courses.
Teng's working career spanned from clerical positions in SME to senior accounting/financial position in large corporations including the Group Financial Comptroller of Guthrie Malaysia Group, Chief Financial Officer cum Group General Manager of WBL Group, Managing Director of Morgan Grenfell Investment Management (Asia) and UBS Asset Management (Asia).
He founded Target Asset Management in 1996 and has since held the position of CEO/CIO. In 2010, he founded The Silent Foundation, a grant making organization focusing on racial/religious harmony and environment/animal conservation.

It was not always a smooth sailing, from a practicing audit & tax accountant to starting his own business, then making investments, Adrian encountered poor and profitable returns from his ventures.
Adrian will be sharing on how he turned around his investment from losses to profits. He will show the skills and tips you need to make the highest returns with minimum effort.

Adrian is the Managing Partner of AdrianYeo Group, He is active and holds many positions in professional associations and alumni.
He pursued an accountancy course at TAR College after which he completed the ACCA professional course in London.
Upon graduation, Adrian worked for two astute Jewish Chartered Accountants firms in London for a total of 7 years.
In 1993, he returned to join KPMG for 2 years, where he was a team leader for audit and corporate exercises of listed companies and multi-national corporations.
In 1995, he started Adrian Yeo Consultancy providing advisory services. In 1998, he started Adrian Yeo & Co, where audit and tax are the core services.
Adrian is also a speaker on taxation and financial related subjects, as well as a writer on entrepreneurship topic for a Chinese magazine.
