The Future of Work: How Jobs Will Change in the 4th Industrial Revolution
Industry 4.0 started in Germany several years ago as a strategic initiative to provide advanced manufacturing solutions.
Nicholas Davis, Head of Society and Innovation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) defines the fourth industrial revolution as ‘a new era that builds and extends the impact of digitization in new and unanticipated ways…and can be described as the advent of “cyber-physical systems”, involving entirely new capabilities and connectivity for people and machines’.
The emerging technology in this new revolution has disrupted nearly every industry in every country. It brings a fundamental change in the way we live, work and relate to one another. In this webinar, Sam will share its impact focusing on the job and work environment. Key takeaways will include an understanding of:
• What is industrial 4.0 in the broader context?
• How it impacts jobs and work environment?
• What can individuals and businesses do to thrive in this new era?
